Adam serves as Worship Pastor at NewDay Church in the Twin Cities area (New Prague, MN) and is the Director of River Valley School of Worship. He has provided both on-site and multi-session online training for worship leaders and teams and has led worship at several
major conferences throughout the Twin Cities region.
Jonathan Lee McElhenny
Jonathan is a highly acclaimed Christian songwriter, worship leader, and pastor associated with People & Songs. He has co-written well-known songs such as “Proof of Your Love” (for KING & COUNTRY), “When the Stars Burn Down,” and “All My Hope.” His songwriting centers believers on Jesus and has earned multiple SESAC and Dove Award nominations. After many years in Nashville, TN, Jonathan has served as Worship Pastor at Radiant Church in Cedar Rapids, IA for the past eight years.

Session 1: The “why” of songwriting and exploring the heart of the psalmist
Session 2: Collaborative songwriting
• Participants will break into small groups and work together to write a song
• If one or two songs show particular promise, we may introduce them during
the worship night
