WHY WE CARE...
Don Bushnell Ministries was born out of a deep burden for leaders who serve faithfully yet often carry more than they were meant to carry alone. Over the years, I have seen pastors and ministry leaders pour themselves out while neglecting the rest, renewal, and discipleship their own hearts need to remain healthy.
Our mission is simple and intentional. We restore leaders by renewing hearts through worship, rest, and discipleship. We believe lasting fruit flows from healthy hearts, and when leaders are renewed, their callings are strengthened and their impact multiplied.
Our vision is restoring leaders and renewing hearts for the Kingdom. This vision shapes everything we do. From creating spaces of rest and worship, to walking with churches through seasons of restoration, to discipling leaders for long-term faithfulness, our desire is to see leaders finish well and serve with joy.
Don Bushnell Ministries exists to serve the Church by caring for those who care for others. We are committed to building environments where healing can take place, callings can be restored, and leaders can be refreshed to continue the work God has entrusted to them.

In 2025 alone, more than 15,000 churches closed, while over 40 percent of pastors report burnout or thoughts of quitting due to a lack of support and resources. Only 1 in 10 pastors ever receive a true break or sabbatical, yet most are expected to keep pouring out week after week. Even more concerning, 65 percent of pastors report feeling deeply lonely and isolated, with many describing emotional distress severe enough to include thoughts of self-harm or suicide.
JESUS calls us to CARE FOR THE SHEPHERDS, not just the sheep. To lift burdens, restore the weary, and walk with those who have been pouring out.
